Women’s Leadership Council

A vibrant and engaged community, PPC’s female leaders come together regularly to discuss shared experiences and develop strategies for success. Are you ready to take your seat at the table?

CONVENING WOMEN IN THE INDUSTRY

Woman leaders in the North American paperboard packaging industry convene at least twice per year in conjunction with PPC’s biannual meetings. Of course, the connections they build span the entire year and beyond—strong connections and lifelong friendships abound.

Session Details: Women’s Leadership Council Meeting: Effective Communication

Ann Bowers-Evangelista, Psy.D., MBA, President, Llumos, LLC

Are you an effective communicator?  The reality is none of us are effective communicators 100% of the time.  So the real questions about communication are: Why do I communicate the way I do?  Where am I most effective, and with whom?  Where does my communication go sideways and why?  And, most importantly, how can I improve my communication to get the results I want?

This session will be a deeper dive into the communication discussions discussed at our Fall Meeting, with an amazing opportunity to take a personality-based assessment free of charge and receive your results in advance.  Attendees will discuss how their individual styles impact all parts of their communication process, try out new communication strategies, get feedback and support from colleagues, and walk away with at least one takeaway that can make them a great communicator.
