International Members are converters or box makers that do not have folding carton facilities in North America. The Bylaws state that, “International Members are Any firm, partnership or corporation actively and regularly engaged in the fabrication or manufacture of and sale of paperboard packages, which does not have folding carton converting facilities in the United States or its territories or possessions, Mexico, or Canada shall be qualified to become an International Member of the Council. The Board of Directors shall prescribe the terms, conditions and payment of dues for International Membership. International Members must be converters whose folding carton sales revenue it greater than or equal to 75% of total sales revenue.”
International Principal Member Dues are based on prior year gross annual sales. Sales revenue is defined as follows: folding carton, rigid box, and litho lam revenue, plus revenue from other structures or cartons where paperboard makes up 25%+ of the package.
Gross sales should be calculated as 100% of North America estimated sales revenue plus 25% of sales revenue from outside of North America for the prior year.
Gross Sales are multiplied by 0.036%.
Minimum dues investment: $4,500
Maximum dues investment: $18,000.
