“Leaders are made, not born.”

A DIVERSE GROUP OF NEW LEADERS

PPC’s community of new generation leaders (NGL) is a diverse group that includes:

  • Individuals involved in succession planning to lead their businesses into the future.
  • Individuals leading divisions within large paperboard packaging companies.

It’s this wide array of perspectives that helps group members learn from each other, engage in meaningful dialogue, and ultimately grow their leadership capacities.

INTIMATE, SELF-LED CONVERSATIONS

NGL is led by members, for members. The group chooses topics and issues that matter most to them when they meet twice per year at PPC’s conferences. While NGL participants travel from all over the United States and Canada, all members share common experiences in the challenges and complexity of running paper based packaging production companies, or in running businesses in closely related industries, as associate members.

Members take turns facilitating sessions, choosing topics, offering prep materials, and identifying learning objectives. This collaborative learning is a unique chance for new leaders to benchmark their own development and growth as well as gain perspective from others in similar positions.

While brief presentations offer a starting point for dialogue, and the group takes it from there. This network provides an opportunity for NGL members to continually reflect on their work, and hear from others engaged in similar demanding roles.  Gathering together provides a time to share ideas, solve problems, and to discover new insights from colleagues.  It is also a time of personal benchmarking, candor, and collegial goodwill.

Please Note: For those interested in participating, sessions are open to one representative from any given company.
