Mark Brothers is RRD’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Deputy Compliance Officer.  In his role, he is responsible for HR in the Americas and Europe and has global responsibilities with regard to employee and labor relations as well as compliance.  Mark has served over 30 years as a human resources professional and business partner with experience leading operations, projects, and HR strategy in a variety of organizations.  Mark has worked in both union and non-union environments and negotiated a number of agreements to align with organizational goals. Mark has a proven track record in driving business results through positive employee relations even in the most challenging environments.  Mark earned his BBA and MBA from Radford University.

Prior to starting Armada in 1999 he was a professor of economics and finance for 15 years – teaching in the US, Hungary, Russia, Estonia, Singapore and Taiwan. He holds advanced degrees in economics, Soviet studies and East Asian studies.

Chris is the co-author of The Flagship and the Strategic Intelligence System – both publications from Armada. He presents to over 125 associations and businesses each year – in the US and globally.

Trent Tucker has been General Manager of American Carton Company for almost 15 years. Trent graduated from Iowa State University with an industrial engineering degree and has spent his career in various engineering and management roles for the printing and packaging industries. His experience has been with three different companies, in seven different manufacturing plants, and five different states. Throughout his career he has gained work experience in many different printing technologies from letterpress, sheetfed offset, web offset, rotogravure, flexography and digital. Originally from Illinois, Trent grew up in the printing industry where his father owned a small commercial printing company. He will be celebrating 35 years of marriage in May to his wife Karen and has one adult son, Alex. Trent currently serves on the board of directors for five different non-profit organizations. He is active in his church and has done multiple short-term mission trips.

Are you an effective communicator?  The reality is none of us are effective communicators 100% of the time.  So the real questions about communication are: Why do I communicate the way I do?  Where am I most effective, and with whom?  Where does my communication go sideways and why?  And, most importantly, how can I improve my communication to get the results I want?

This session will be a deeper dive into the communication discussions discussed at our Fall Meeting, with an amazing opportunity to take a personality-based assessment free of charge and receive your results in advance.  Attendees will discuss how their individual styles impact all parts of their communication process, try out new communication strategies, get feedback and support from colleagues, and walk away with at least one takeaway that can make them a great communicator.
