About TICCIT

The TICCIT program encourages PPC member companies to engage their teams, build connections in the community, teach the next generation about the importance of sustainable packaging, and support industry growth by debunking myths about sustainability.

Since 2010, PPC member companies from across the country have hosted annual TICCIT programs in their local communities by visiting 3rd – 5th grade classrooms to teach the TICCIT presentation and plant tree saplings in a paperboard carton for students to take home to plant with their families. The carton serves as a real-life example of sustainability, as the tree grows the carton breaks down to complete the “trees into cartons, cartons into trees” cycle. While the program takes less than an hour, the impact lasts a lifetime.
