BillerudKorsnäs are a Swedish manufacturer of raw materials for packaging, with 8 mills in Europe. We make board, liquid packaging board, corrugated materials and sack papers. We are rapidly growing our production capacity and expanding our regional business around the world. We recently invest $800 million in a new, state of the art paperboard machine, and as such, are dramatically increasing our supply to the North American folding box industry. We inventory paperboard across the USA and are staffed to service as well as or better than domestic suppliers. Our unique multi-ply SBS is stronger and stiffer than conventional single-ply SBS at lighter weights.
Our reliance on fossil fuel energy is uniquely low at less than 3%. For this reason, and many more, we have been ranked #1 on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the packaging materials industry, 2 years in a row.
