Note from the Firefighters:
“There is a video on you tube from Grandview Heights Fire Department that gave Chief Kelly from Olmsted Township the idea, which he passed on to us. We bought a paint sprayer from Harbor Freight, the cost was $23.99 with the usual 20% off coupon that comes with the flyer. We had the adaptors to fit in with our air compressor lines.
We use a product from Zep DZ-7. I believe the cost is $12.00 a gallon. It is then diluted 4oz to 1 gallon of water, which will give us 32 gallons of product. We follow the directions for use printed on the bottle.
This product when used as directed, is formulated to disinfect the following hard non-porous inanimate environmental surfaces: floors, walls, metal surfaces, stainless steel surfaces, glazed porcelain, glazed ceramic tile, plastic surfaces, vanity tops, shower stalls, bathtubs and cabinets. For large areas such as operating rooms and patients care facilities, this product is designed to provide both general cleaning and disinfecting. This product deodorizes those areas which generally are hard to keep fresh smelling such as garbage storage areas, empty garbage bins and cans, toilet bowls, and other areas which are prone to odors cause by microorganisms. This product is formulated to a neutral pH and will not dull high-gloss floor finished with repeated use.”
