Essential Workforce Resources
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (Cyber+Infrastructure, CISA) released the Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce, identifying essential workers by sector. It appears that most, if not all, packaging manufacturing could be considered essential.

Additionally, the FDA released guidance for consumers while grocery shopping. We have highlighted the area specifying that food packaging has not been associated with the transmission of COVID-19 here.

A Message from the President

A message from the President

As the world takes action to minimize the spread of COVID-19, we are doing our part at PPC . We are committed to promoting a healthy, thriving community for our members and our industry throughout this ever-evolving situation.

Spring Meeting and Events
We have canceled Spring Meeting 2020, previously scheduled for April 22-24 in Disney. For now, we have moved all paid registrations to our 2020 Fall Meeting in Savannah, GA, October 13-15. Please contact info@paperbox.org to request a refund. Look for announcements regarding other upcoming events soon.

Business Doesn’t Stop – Neither Do We
Business hasn’t stopped, and PPC hasn’t either. Board and Committee meetings will continue virtually. Data Benchmarking will continue, as will updates to the Industry Voice . Our staff will continue to work, be it in the office or from home, to serve our members during this challenging time.

Helpful Resources
To help protect our overall community, we want to remind our members there are steps we all can take to prevent further spread of the virus. In addition to frequent hand washing, you can help by limiting person-to-person interaction with telecommunication efforts. View our regularly updated list of resources further down on this page.
